LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that the government’s top priorities were to provide quality healthcare facilities to the masses, ARY News reported.
Presiding over a high-level meeting in connection with healthcare facilities in Punjab, PM Imran Khan instructed that appropriate war-based steps be taken to ensure that every person is provided with medical facilities irrespective of class differences.
Talking about the accession, PM Imran screamed at the former rulers for neglecting weak segments of society.
The meeting was told of the provincial government’s actions to improve the health sector. Also in Punjab, PM Imran was briefed on the health card scheme.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Provincial Law Minister Basharat Raja and others attended the meeting.
Premier Imran Khan had chaired a high-level meeting on the provision of health care facilities to the citizens of Punjab in Lahore earlier on September 2.
The prime minister, who visited the provincial capital on a day-long visit, had emphasized improving the healthcare system.
