Indian actor-in-chief Sunny Doel announced on Friday that he will be part of the Kartarpur Corridor’s inaugural ceremony on 9 November.
Indian News Agency ANI quoted the BJP MP as saying, “If I’m not going, who is going to? I’m definitely going to go. It’s my place and my house. “Doel isn’t the only prominent Indian to attend the ceremony. It will also be attended by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Chief Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh and Ministers Hardeep Puri and Harsimrat Kaur Badal.
Congressman Navjot Singh Sidhu was also given political authority by the foreign ministry on Thursday to visit the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib.
Saturday will be the opening ceremony for the Kartarpur Corridor on both sides of the border.
