LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League President Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif said his brother Nawaz Sharif was willing to be handled outside the country, sources said.
The party leaders expressed concerns about Nawaz’s health condition as per the inside story of the core committee meeting of the PML-N. To which Shehbaz told them about the willingness of the former Premier to go for medical treatment abroad.
The PML-N president, however, advised party leaders not to talk about seeking treatment for Nawaz from abroad until it is granted relief by the court.
Earlier in the case of Al-Azizia, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted bail on medical grounds to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The 10-member medical board’s report on the health of Nawaz Sharif was also presented at the Lahore High Court (LHC) on October 25, which later approved his bail on medical grounds.
A few days before, the former prime minister, who was convicted in a corruption case and incarcerated in Kot Lakhpat jail, fell critically ill and is still under intensive care.
